Set it and forget it design. Easy to clean. Coffee stays hot for hours without burning. Large capacity. Small footprint design (vertical clearance a bit of an issue so check your counter height, but this is an important appliance so desrves its own place!). Quiet operation but beeps loudly upon completion - not everyone's favorite feature but we can live with that since it's a reminder that the time to enjoy the brew is upon you.

I love that it brews into the carafe and then I can take it with me wherever I am in the house. The coffee stays hot for hours, (as long as you "pre-heat" the carafe with hot water), it brews quickly, and shuts off as soon as it is done brewing. No more burnt coffee taste for me!

The wife and I use the Cuisinart Coffee Maker everyday. We prefer the thermos pot instead of the glass one since you can remove it from the holder and have hot coffee most of the day without having to use electricity. Energy Efficient.
