One cup of heaven at a time. This is the first time my wife has ever wanted a kitchen appliance for a gift! They have one where she works and everyone loves it. I would have to agree, it is an excellent coffee pot. It is a bit of a hassle to clean, but nothing that would stop me from using it everyday. It is even great for that evening cup of iced coffee after dinner. The daughter has even used it for her frappuccinos.

I like the fact that I can remove the bottom when I need to fill up my coffee mug because my mug is too tall to fit underneath.

I love this machine it works very well and keeps the coffee hot, very easy to program. Only con of this product is that it doesnt allow for tall mugs under spout

There is a 1-4 button, which means from one to four cups brewed you get "piping hot" coffee. The problem is anything over four cups is just warm. It doesn't brew "hot" coffee over four cups.

I use this for tea, not coffee. just today I found out that the lever that releases the beverage leaks. when I took it apart, I discovered a tea leaf had gotten lodged in the hole where the beverage comes out! so I tried it again, and it seems to be fine now. I hope it continues that way or at least I know how to fix it. I do use coffee filters for the loose tea as I would with coffee.

Since we drink coffee every day, we wanted a reliable coffee maker, but also one that makes a great cup of coffee. The Cuisinart DCC-2000 did the job.

I make 12 cups in the morning and it generally lasts about 2 hours. Traditional carafes tend to scorch the coffee after an hour or so leaving the remainder of the coffee bitter and sometimes undrinkable. This is no longer the case as the last cup of coffee tastes as good as the first.
