I set the timer for when I wake up and I can enjoy a cup of coffee first thing in the morning... then I take the pot to work and can enjoy warm fresh coffee throughout my work day... it does cool down by the very end of the day, but it is still a drinkable temperature. It makes pretty good coffee for an automatic drip machine.
