I bought this for my husband for Christmas. I got him a smaller grinder for Christmas last year, but the whole process of measuring beans and grinding when you're in serious need of caffeine isn't always fun! He loves this one, and says it's much easier than even using ground coffee- all he has to do is push the button, and he has freshly-ground, pre-measured coffee. I ordered a refurbished model; only small complaint is that the first time it was used, a few small pieces of black plastic broke off of the outside. This was just cosmetic and doesn't affect the performance of the product. Other than than, I wouldn't have hesitated to rate this 5 stars- wonderful product!

Good grinder, convenient and easy to use, but motor tends to burn out eventually. This is our third one in the past few years. The price is low, so we just get a new one when the motor goes.

I could not tell it was reconditioned. Even down to the packaging! It was the best money I've spent in a long time. I reground some coffee and it improved the flavor. Beans ground uniformly and exactly as programed. I am well pleased with all the aspects of my purchase.

We use it several times a day - it is always plugged in and ready. You can see at a glance whether it needs refilling. Just push the button and you get just the right amount every time. Easy to adjust the setting for more or run several times. Easily removed container goes straight to the filter in the coffee pot. We hope it will keep running for several years without any problems

This is a replacement for the same item that we had for four years. Works well for us. It was a good price at Abe's of Maine.

The grind is constant, fast, and accurate. It is easy to use. I realize that I used this selection of comments in the pros, but, it is just that nice. I grind my coffee third or fourth to finest, it gets the best flavor out of the bean for my liking. A friend of mine also likes it's results. It is easier to use than the grinders that use the bowl method that have the blades in it. I am so tempted to get 4 or 5 more of these for Christmas gifts or birthday presents. I have family members that like coffee, too, grind it from whole bean and use the other method. I am not sure if they realize the difference. I am going to start with my mum, her birthday is next month.

I really didn't know I was purchasing a refurbished item. I should have read the ad more carefully. I am happy with the purchase though. It looked brand new out of the box and the product works just fine. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Forget the cheaper blade-type grinders. Save those for spices and herbs. If you love coffee then this Cuisinart Burr Grinder is the perfect choice. Not the least bit expensive and it produces the best grind this side of the A&P! Forget having your coffee ground by some stray part-time employee at your local beanery! You'll always have the freshest coffee available with this point-of-use grinder. Minutes count when coffee is 1st ground. You're always one traffic jam or flat tire away from a ruined bag of store ground beans. Maintennance is only wiping out the ground container and lid with a dry napkin! What could be simpler? BUY THIS and be delighted!
