This is my first digital SLR, but it's the same one I bought my daughter a couple years ago. I'm impressed with how easy it is to get started using this camera. I've taken quite a few pictures and now that I'm generally familiar with it, I'm using it as I go through the more detailed manuals and pamphlets.

Camera is very easy to use. Simple focus system and many ways to set up a shot. The T1i has just about all the needed improvements over the XSi and works easier. Very happy with the results. Great camera.

i have only had this camera a short time,so I can't give a full review,but love it so far.The software is a little hard to use at first, but in time I will get used to it.I did not like not being able to choose between 24 hr and hundreds on the clock

The owner's manual topics located too many various places! Most symbols do not visually represent their button "functions" well! User must have a great memory to learn all the little (but important) points. With manual in hand, I got great photos... without manual I had lots of trouble getting it to obey me! Manual is too small for my eyes so had to use magnifying glass! 18-55mm lens worked great for me. Canon should offer a college class on how to use it! I like the T1i and glad I bought it. I recommend using one before making decision to buy any camera.

Nice, mid-priced camera from a manufacturer that you can trust. I've owned several Canon cameras through the years and always been pleased. Even though I have only had this one for a few weeks, I am completely satisfied.

I'm not the most knowledgeable, but I know what I like in a good photo and have been able to make a lot of easy adjustments to try and achieve it. It's only a matter of time til it comes quickly. Really great camera for a slightly above novice ready to move up in the world.

I love this camera! I got it to take pictures of my baby, they come out so clear. the only issue I've had is trying to figure out the auto focus and get it exactly where I want it.
