I can record between 3 & 4 hours without recharging. It's a big bat, but it seems to balance well on my canon HF20.

Camera said about 4 hours charge on this battery. I have not yet used it completely until empty in one shot. Sticks out from the camera but is not a hassle at all

Does just what I wanted. Gives me about 300 minutes or 5 hours on my Canon HF S100. The battery pack does stick out some, but I expected it. The size doesn't bother me. It is about a half inch longer than the battery that came with my camera. I would recommend.

Bought this battery for the Canon HF11. We bought this to make sure we had enough battery life to record our wedding. Needless to say, this was plenty of battery to do so. We were also using an additional light powered by the battery, but none the less, it worked wonders.
