This is a great lens. It was all that I imagined. I love the wide field of view on this beauty. I am a big wide-angle shooter, and this satisfies all my needs. You can capture a lot of different elements in one exposure thanks to this lens. Do not worry about the f/4 aperture; the DOF can still be very shallow if you need it to be, and since this lens is 8-15mm, you do not need to worry about camera shake. This lens performs beautifully in low-light situations. I highly advise all wide-angle shooters to give this lens a test. Just be careful of the bulbous front element-it will take a while to get used to it.

Comments:
I have had this beautiful lens for 3 weeks. The first weekend I went to the Finger Lakes and Watkins Glen. The photos and videos that I returned with were sensational. The angle of view is extreemly wide and sharp. I have had a fisheye previously and understand the distortion that is available. If you learn to use this creatively you will WOW all that see the results!

Best fisheye lens. Top image quality. Fast and Sharp. Zoom fisheye is a very creative feature. One of a kind lens for Canon. If it is f/2.8, that would be perfect.
