Just received and started using this lens. It's been great so far...excellent size, weight and 70-300 mm zoom is fantastic. Picture quality looks pretty good so far, but I will be putting it through its paces over the summer.

Comments:

I took this lens with me to the zoo. Took photos and video with it. Fantastic output. I read a ton of reviews and was reluctant to buy it. Lot of reviews stating blurry focus and bad bokeh. You have to know how to adjust the settings for this lens. My photos came out sharp. Focus was fast and accurate. The focus ring is too close to the camera body so it takes some getting used to. It is a heavy lens but that didn't bother me. I like the fact that is somewhat inconspicuous and not a big white tube. Didn't see any bokeh problems. The price is a little high but I am still happy I bought it. Photo quality is as good as my L lens. I shoot a lot of candids and of moving objects. Everything comes out very sharp.
