The design is beautiful. The movements are so smooth and quiet, a big plus. The one small beep when the toast is up is unobtrusive and a very nice touch. The lit control buttons are also a fine feature. My only disappointment is that both sides of the piece of toast don't come up equally toasted - the inner side is darker than the outer side.

This is not only attractive setting on the counter, it also is the very best toaster I have ever had for even toasting, with the slot size actually holding the items in the toaster correctly. The one side toast for Bagels is a wonderful option.

We love this toaster. Toasts even, and I even use the bagel feature for hamburger buns to get them toasted on one side. After finding toast on the floor and counter from previous toasters, I went on a hunt for a guality toaster. I know it is pricey, but I look forward to toast in the morning. Works great, looks great and I highly recommend the Breville.
