I bought this to replace a previous Bosch condenser after its motor failed. The previous used the standard 3 wire 220 cables, this new one required the newer 4 wire setup. There are instructions for rewiring to use an older outlet, but it seemed better for me to upgrade the outlet which is what I did. The unit itself works well, has a very cool feature where there's a light inside! Otherwise it's a nice dryer but does take a long time, as is standard with non-venting units.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
