I bought this to replace a GE washer that (finally) died. My old washer was loud, we could hear it throughout the house when it was running, and it was supposedly a quiet washer. This Bosch brand is really, really well designed. I installed it myself and there are LOTS of great features to assist in that. Water connection is in the front, as well as the electrical connection. You don't need wire nuts as you connect to a connection block, but you do need a Romex strain relief, the 1/4" to 3/8" version, since the washer does not come with it. Also, get a long hot water connection hose, since you need to connect to the front of the washer. Rear adustment height is made from the front of the washer, which is a nice touch and makes installation that much easier. Lots of neat design features. No exposed heating coil at the bottom, so no items that fall to the bottom will melt. None of the spayers are aimed at the door, to reduce noise. Top rack is height adjustable, and comes completely out if you have something extra tall. Check the Bosch website for more info & details on the design features. Just looking at the cotton insulation around this thing you know its quiet. I love all the nice touches that help to reduce the noise. They really work. It is not "silent" but you cannot hear it with the TV on, except when it is draining the old water. I haven't had it long enough to gauge energy and water use, but supposedly it is one of the better ones in terms of energy efficiency. It seems to clean very well. Recommendation from Bosch is that you stick with powdered detergents and use a rinse aid. I have been doing that and it appears to clean very well, much better than my old GE washer. I would highly recommend this washer.

The name speaks for itself. It is quiet and leaves a spot free shine. A little cumberson to install. The water intake is in the front. It has been the best dishwasher I've used.

The dishwasher was a snap to install. Bosch details what needs to be done in easy to do steps. It is easy to level as well. The dw washes quite well and does a good enough job drying (if you leave the dishes in their for a little bit after the cycle is finished. I would recommend this dw to anybody who appreciates quality. You can't even hear the thing running (thanks to Bosch for the light that shines on the floor).

This is very nice and super quiet dishwasher. Relatively easy and simple installation There is no express wash cycle - I guess one can "express wash" by hand :) My unit was made in USA; so far acceptable assembly quality Most of Bosch dishwashers would require installer to be very careful when connecting drain hose. I had to secure it next to drain outlet as it is very fragile. Special note for Abe's of Maine sales and customer service: it was great. Though none of my emails got answered - all concernes was quickly resolved over the phone. Delivery company (AM Trucking) in California is not great at all. Delivery crew insisted on extra payment to bring the item inside the house, left a mess after themselves and refused to cleanup.

Very good, quiet, well designed and quality product. Note, that power cord is not included. There is no quick cycle - shortest wash time is 99 minutes. upon delivery take your time to inspect the product: open the door, remove baseboard cover at the bottom. Sign after you checked twice. Installation notes: after attaching drain hose to the back I would recommend drill 2 holes in the plastic base and secure hose with wire tire(s) through drilled holes. This will privent potencial drain connector bending and/or cracking when you'll be moving unit in place.
