I use the Duo-i plus primarily with my iPhone and Pandora. The sound quality is rich and wonderful in our living room. FM reception could be a bit stronger from greater distances (>50 miles). Perhaps, I should consider hooking up an external antenna (other than the little wire that comes with it).

I was not expecting the sound on this size of a radio to be this good. It is crisp, clean, and can compete with my Yamaha receiver and speakers. It has an elegant design, and the controls are simple and easy to use. Love the way the brightness of the clock adjusts to the light and the alarm volume increases gradually. Highly recommend it.

I bought this dock as a gift for my niece, but she gave me enough of a demo that I feel comfortable completing this review. She had originally asked for an iHome dock for her iTouch, but since I'm pretty picky about sound I wanted to go one notch higher. I've been familiar - and impressed - with Boston Acoustics products for a long time. They're obviously not the best of the best, but I think the quality for the price is second to none. This little dock pounds, and it remains crystal clear and free of distortion at all volume levels. In addition to its fabulous sound, it also looks great and has a super crisp display. Abe's price was hard to beat, [...] I would highly recommend this dock as well as Abes's of Maine.

If you are looking for an Iphone Itouch dock, this is the one to get. Most impressive is the sound. Another plus is its build. So many products made today are cheap, molded plastic. This unit was built to last, has heft and feels like you actually have something for your money. The over all design and sound is tops.

I bought this product for my wife, she likes to listen music while at home. It's hard to find a portable radio that sounds really good, but it surprised me, It sounds better than Bose at half the price. It could be better if the display shows ipod information (Artist, song name etc.)

The new I Phone 4G will cause the system to Humm when docked due to the increased power output of the Iphone 4G. To avoid the humm try activating the "airplane mode" on the I phone which reduces its power output. If this works its a question of whether you want to live with changing the settings on your phone when you want to listen to music. I Phone 4G is so new that most systems may have compatibility problems with the phones power output. Otherwise system is very nice.

I first came across this unit in Germany while helping a friend buy a self contained unit for her iPod. We were both very impressed with the big sound from such a small enclosure. I ordered one for myself for my basement studio space. It really puts out fantastic sound. I really haven't come across a feature that compromises this unit. I have a Harman Kardon Go+Play High Performance unit in my wood shop and it is also great (especially the bass) but it dosen't have radio and was $100 more expensive. The BA measures up very well against the HK.

This speaker makes a great bedroom alarm. It sounds really nice for a small system. Bass is good at "0" setting with Trebile at "7" for best all around sound when playing loud. I use this in our kitchen/living room area and sometimes on the back patio. More bass than the Bose sounddock. The kicker ikick350 is louder, I think the DUO has more of a uniform and full sound.

The remote isn't so great. Not sure who would use the magnet on the back. It's small and difficult to use by touch in the dark. It would be nice if the ipod track and artist information was visible on the alarm clock screen so you could control your music with the remote. The sound is great. I wish the alarm could be set to something other than the last played radio station or ipod track. The snooze feature is nice. Overall, pretty good, not sure if I would pay nearly $200 for it though.
