The Auto-Chef features are really great but it did take some getting used to how fast the heat comes and how hot it can get. Start with MIN and LOW. Best scrambled eggs EVER - with AutoChef. :) Used a RotoZip to open my cooktop opening from 30" to 36" worked great and this appliance looks great.
