This is my 3rd stovetop. I have had 2 other electric stovetops and an induction cooktop. My old induction was great when it worked but costly to repair. My previous electric cooktop would not simmer or even maintain a low temperature. My home is wired for both electric & gas. I was originally going to replace it with gas. After a friend's panic to get home after remembering she had left her stove on, I thought that a cooktop with a timer would be a great idea. I inadvertently found that there was actually one made by Borsch. This stovetop is great for busy moms and seniors. Although it has a lot of electronics, it is VERY easy to use. It has a great range of temperatures and it looks even better in person. The stainless steel doesn't show fingerprints either.

Comments:
We remodelled the kitchen and got granite counters. The cooktop blends in well and shows up the kitchen well. The cooktop functions very well and has made cooking fun.
