Bosch is a terrific manufacturer. Although Consumer Reports doesn't rate their products, they are known by Bosch owners to be high quality and reliable. I plan to buy a dishwasher within the next few months & it too will be Bosch

This beautiful stovetop looks gourmet and expensive, but is pretty affordable. The look of it (no buttons, black and stainless) really dresses up my kitchen. I like the precision and the fact that it has almost every feature of more expensive cooktops. I do wish it the burners responded more quickly, and it isn't too easy to clean - it came with a nice sample of cleaner, but it is sometimes hard to get the surface clean when something has spilled over.
