I bought this for a camcorder but I'm using it much more often for Skype and PC games now. It's much better than the Logitech USB Desktop mic I've had. But check your sound settings and make sure your soundcard can boost your microphone by roughly 30db. I was afraid this boost would make the signal noisy but my voice was loud and extremely clear By itself and depending on how much cord you have to bundle up, it's a little on the heavy side. But the included clips help alleviate that. Now I'm just waiting for the iPhone 3.0 update so I can use it to record lectures and panels

I'm using the product for videos. It works fine at a great price. I only wish the input gain was a little higher, or that there was a input volume control. Otherwise, I like it.
