I initially needed the Eee Pad for organizing 'paperless' work for school/clinicals. But now I also use it for everything I use my desktop for and I can take it anywhere. It operates smoothly and is very easy to get started using it. Only problems I have encountered are apps that force close. I do not believe it has anything to do with the computer but faults within the apps.

TF101 is a couch animal. Given the size and lack of 3G it is an indoor device. Whenever compared to a desktop PC or a laptop it wins the race easily as a content consumption device. Surprisingly the on screen keyboard which comes with Android 3.1 works very well, leaving minimum to none errors in terms of accuracy. The biggest win is the IPS LCD TFT matrix having wonderful color reproduction and wide angles. There is a noticable backlight leak but it remains easy to get along with. From my point of view - it is an ideal couch Internet device.

I was debating between this and an iPad. I have to say I couldn't be happier. Battery life is great, screen is great and the keyboard dock is the icing on the cake. GREAT JOB ASUS!
